My boyfriend’s filthy beard gave me a nasty infection — it won’t stop oozing

Face it, men, you must keep your beards clean.

That’s the mane point of a PSA an Australian TikToker posted after she allegedly got an infection from her boyfriend’s beard.

“Sorry to everyone I told that I ran into a wall,” @h.paigeee captioned a montage of up-close and gooey clips of her chin infection, which has a hair over 2.2 million views since it was posted last month.

The 20-year-old social media user claims her boyfriend’s stubble cut her skin and “natural bacteria on hair” caused a “red mark” that “just won’t stop weeping.”

Her irritated chin appeared crusty in some of the photos. She sported a bandage in one pic, sticking to the story that the infection was just a boo-boo.

She said the irritation went away within five days with the help of antibacterial cream.

Although her icky mess has disappeared, she’s now warning men to wash their facial hair. A surprising number of commenters shared their own weepy experiences before revealing how they kept their chin up.

“I dealt with this often with my previous boyfriend and that’s why he’s my previous boyfriend,” one person laughed.

“Yeah this happened to me when I was in college and I had a boyfriend my mother didn’t like, this is how she knew I was still seeing him,” another user shared.

“YES!!! I’m glad it was never this bad, but I nearly gave up on men entirely,” one user wrote.

“Went thru the same thing queen had a scab for 2 weeks,” another dished.

One woman who allegedly suffered a similar rash said she got it from a steamy make-out sesh.

Other oblivious users called the Aussie TikToker “a queen for telling us.”

“New fear unlocked,” one gal wrote.

“My partner is never allowed to shave his beard oh my lord,” another said.

“Good day to love women,” another quipped while another decided, “This puts me off ever dating! I’m fine alone with my cat.”

Turns out, men can sport this kind of rash too. A guy from California figured that out the hard way when he reportedly used his roommate’s razor to touch up his facial hair.
