Online army of Taylor Swift megafans refuse to believe her wedding will be at MSG — despite all the obvious clues

The Swifties have spoken.

The temperature outside Madison Square Garden is sweltering, but the real heat is the online debate of Swifties decoding whether the “American royal wedding” of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will be in the famous arena this upcoming holiday weekend.

Speculations about the long-anticipated wedding have sent the world, Swifties and grumpy New Yorkers alike, into a frenzy.

And the singer’s die-hard fans are even side-eyeing the rumors, unsure why their TK NAME would ever exchange vows in the same arena where the Knicks had their championship run.

Many skeptic fans believe an MSG wedding is “too tacky” for the singer who writes about lakes, countryside, and enchanting fairytales.

“You cannot convince me that Taylor Allison Swift isn’t getting married on a chateau in the french countryside, or even on the coast of Rhode Island,” a fan argued online. “Not MSG, how stupid do you guys think we are.”

“I saw someone else say ‘Taylor herself could tell me she’s getting married at MSG and I still wouldn’t believe it,” quipped someone else.

“She’s the most prolific songwriter of our time and the most hopeless romantic woman alive and yet we think she’s getting married at Madison Square Garden? There’s no way,” said another Swiftie.

“I can’t picture her getting married in a windowless place with no natural light,” someone else chimed in.

To prove themselves wrong, some die-hard NYC superfans hit the pavement at the Garden Wednesday and Thursday, despite the record-breaking heat, for evidence.

One Swiftie posted a viral clip titled “Everything I saw outside of Madison Square Garden today” showing obvious clues — forklifts, gazebo roof, tent, carpets, curtains, artificial trees, stage boxes and a camera crew.

But many still aren’t buying it.

One TikTokker marched over to MSG for further evidence, found it, and was still not convinced.

“One of the boxes they loaded in says mirrorball on it, which feels like something they would do to completely throw everybody off,” the hesitant Swiftie said.

For context: “Mirrorball” is one of Swift’s most popular songs, and the user argued the box could have said disco ball instead of mirror ball. “It feels too obvious.”

Another fan is “standing ten toes down” against the rumors and said her source is “deep intuition.”

Even the megafans who feel as if they’re close, personal friends with the Grammy-Award winning singer, couldn’t fathom that she would choose a sports stadium as her wedding venue when her songs only portray her as a hopeless romantic.

The trucks, food deliveries, red carpet and the hundreds of NYPD and national security outside the Midtown spectacle clearly aren’t enough to prove them wrong.
