Optical illusion doubles as personality test — are you a loner or a supporter?

Are you a lone wolf or part of a herd?

Popular TikTok user and optical illusion enthusiast Mia Yilin shared a new eye ocular assessment with her 459,000 followers on the app, claiming that the viewers’ first glance could determine their personality type.

More than 13,000 viewers have taken a gander at Sunday’s TikTok post, with an astonished few calling the test “so accurate” and “spot on.”

The quizzical image in question depicts two illustrations in one.

Depending on which doodle your noodle perceives first, you may be someone who has a lot of “empathy,” or one who “prefer[s] your own company,” instead.

Did you see the head of a crocodile or a man and boy in a boat?

According to Yilin, what you notice first may reveal your social traits.

“If you first saw the boat, then you’re the kind of person who craves adventure and is constantly curious about the world around you,” the content creator said.

“You prefer your own company over others, so you don’t like going out much,” she shared.

Prioritizing individuality has its burdens, too, Yilin added.

“Sometimes, making decisions can be tough for you because you like to weigh all possible options before settling,” she explained.

That leaves the croc spotters. “If you first saw the crocodile, then you’ve got a big heart and a lot of empathy for others,” the puzzle pro claimed.

“You care so much about your friends and family and would do anything for them,” she continued.

But caring too much can turn people-persons into people-pleasers, Yilin warned.

“As a result, you expect more from them, but they often let you down,” she reasoned. “Also, when you’re in a large group setting, you quickly feel very mentally and physically drained.”
