Video shows LA ‘bros’ driving golf balls into traffic and at buildings in downtown

As if gridlock and potholes in the city weren’t bad enough — Angelenos are now dodging flying projectiles.

A group of golf-loving content creators who film themselves launching golf balls at high speeds directly into traffic and at downtown buildings is facing fierce backlash after a viral compilation video posted to the r/LosAngeles Reddit forum exposed the dangerous late-night stunts.

“There’s a group of bros in LA who go out at night, driving golf balls into oncoming traffic and at the windows of residential and commercial buildings, film it, and post the clips to Instagram for clout,” the frustrated Reddit user wrote.

“They’re not hiding their faces. The account has over 45,000 followers and they appear to be doing this nightly across LA joking in the comments about never getting caught.”

Internet sleuths quickly identified the Instagram page @everywhereweplaygolf, which has over 46,000 followers, and pointed to local Los Angeles gold coach and content creator Dave Fink as one of the ringleaders.

The Post reached out to the account and LAPD but is yet to hear back.

The viral account has built up a following by showcasing a high-risk version of “street golf,” posting videos of players launching golf balls from unconventional urban locations. The page is populated with videos of golfers teeing off from rooftops, sidewalks, parking structures.

The dangerous trend has left locals terrified of a catastrophic accident that could claim lives.

“A driven golf ball leaves a club at well over 100 mph. Hitting one into a windshield isn’t a prank, it’s a random act of violence that kills people,” the original Reddit poster noted.

Many in the comments also called on law enforcement to investigate.
