Not even Harold and Kumar would be brave enough to try this.
Famed slider chain White Castle posted a stomach-churning DIY video demonstrating how to make Thanksgiving stuffing from their guilty-pleasure mini burgers.
A viewer quickly called the detail-oriented viral Instagram clip “the perfect recipe for a family fight.”
Those with the emotional fortitude to try it — another commenter called it “murder burger stuffing” — should start with 10 to 12 original sliders with no cheese or pickles.
“Cut or tear them into small pieces, add finely diced celery, black pepper, thyme, and sage, pour in chicken stock, and toss all of that together really well,” White Castle suggests on camera.
“Then spread it into a casserole dish and bake it at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. You get the most unexpectedly delicious stuffing, and the dish that will disappear first at your Thanksgiving gathering.”
The chain said it can fill a 12-pound turkey with about nine cups with less chicken broth added.
Its website also offers guidelines for jalapeno burger stuffing variations, among other Frankenfood recipes.
Whether or not the video posted Thursday — National Stuffing Day — was serious, many detractors took the holiday-fueled rage bait.
Several would take planes, trains and automobiles to avoid the stuff.
“This is straight foolishness. If I see this at any Thanksgiving I’m at — I’m flipping tables,” one commented.
Another described it as the gift that keeps giving, writing, “You will get nothing but the runs.”
“POLICE!!!!!!!!” a third cyber-shouted.
However, one burger booster is keeping an open mind.
“Don’t knock it until you try it! Right?” they commented.
White Castle has been leaning into festive fun for years.
On Valentine’s Day, the fast food joint often converts into sit-down dining with an upscale feel that includes a reservation system. The restaurant chain also offers dining deals on holidays including the Fourth of July and Veterans Day.
