I’m a McDonald’s worker — here’s why you’re wrong about our fries

This McDonald’s employee will stupe-fry you.

A TikTok user named Livy debunked a widely circulated myth that alleges the fast food chain’s small-, medium- and large-size fry containers hold the same amount of crispy goodness.

The 18-year-old worker shared a video recently — which has since earned over 3 million views — where she claimed that the sizes all vary and are not the same.

“McDonald’s is not trying to fool anybody,” she captioned the clip.

“OK, we’re going to show that all our fries are different sizes, all right?” Livy began as she first took out the paper packet that Mickey D’s uses for its small order of fries. Livy then filled the container with the correct serving of fries.

She then flipped the mini bag into a red medium carton. The delicious potatoes filled the container only halfway.

Livy dumped some more cut taters into the package to show how much more a customer is actually getting when they order a medium.

Lastly, she poured the fries into a large-size cardboard case, further exhibiting how only half of the cup is stuffed with the starchy goodness.

Despite the teen seemingly disproving the theory that McDonald’s isn’t swindling fast food lovers with the number of fries they are given, some viewers in the comments still didn’t trust her.

“My fries are always filled as if they’re a small,” penned one eater. “They half-fill them now. I gotta get a large just to get a medium.”

Another chimed in: “Like they ever fill the fries up.”

Someone else whined: “Yea but when I get a large it’s like they used a medium to fill it up with all the damn fries missing!”

“They never are filled like that and I eat a lot of McDonald’s,” a user pointed out. “Yeah, except they never get filled like that lol.”

Livy claimed that the serving sizes of fries at McDonald’s are, in fact, different sizes.

Another worker at the chain went viral in recent weeks when he revealed the most annoying things that customers do when they order burgers.

Harry Oliver took to TikTok and shared his thoughts on people who ask for a cheeseburger — without the cheese.

Other grievances included wondering if the fries were hot enough, complaining when a Quarter Pounder has cheese on it and customers demanding table service.

Oliver also grumbled about how consumers become enraged when the ice cream shake machine is broken, when they request unsalted fries but also ask for salt packets and when people don’t treat the employees serving them with respect.

Despite McDonald’s being known for cheap and delicious fast food, their prices have gone up due to the current economic landscape.

In certain European countries, the chain has tipped toward the more expensive side of the scale for certain culinary items.

According to online loan company CashNetUSA, the Triple Cheddar and Double Beef Burger in France cost about $15.67 each.

The Big Tasty Double Bacon from Liechtenstein and Switzerland can be priced at $13.29 and the Dobbel Big Tasty in Norway rings up to $12.96.
