Nurse claims she made $500K a year after following these steps — and she did it by age 27

It’s not uncommon when a person who wants to get into nursing school tells others they can make the “big bucks” doing what they do.

That’s why Olivia Reeves, 35, gives her steps to success on how she made between $250,000 to $500,000 a year — and paid off her student loans — by the time she was 27.

In a viral clip she posted to TikTok, the certified registered nurse anesthetist from California detailed how she did it by following a girt-and-grind process, avoiding legal trouble, and staying motivated to receive a massive paycheck.

“I’m not here to be your mom, but if you’re gonna do stupid things then think about your future and how that would impact that,” Reeves said.

Reeves, who has 1.3 million followers, believes prospective nursing students will need to sacrifice the party life of an average college newcomer.

“Go to a four-year college or transfer somehow to get there,” Reeves advised. “Within your freshman year, you’re going to talk to a counselor and you’re going to be like, ‘Hey, I want to get in all of the classes that get me into nursing school.””

The 35-year-old preached that you will need to “sell your soul to nursing school” and understand the college experience will be a little more different for you than others.

Maintaining a good GPA (grade point average), striving to be one of the best students in the class, and joining clubs like the honor society are an underlying basis to one’s ticket into anesthesiology school, Reeves says.

“You’re gonna get kick a** grades, like a 4.0. You’re gonna be number one in your class,” Reeves said. “Want to know why? Because that makes you a competitive candidate years from now when you’re applying to anesthesiology school.”

Physician anesthesiologists in the US are required to complete a four-year undergrad degree in college with pre-med requirements, according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

The young nurse then lays out the table and encourages passionate students to look into nursing programs that strongly fit them.

Reeves follows up saying students will need to get their BSN, and once they do — they need to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses to get that “kick ass job.”

“You’re gonna do all the things. You’re gonna become charge nurse. You’re gonna join all the societies of being a nurse. You’re gonna get all the certifications, and then you’re gonna start shadowing CRNAs,” Reeves said.

Even more encouraging for viewers, Reese said she was able to pay off $200,000 in her student loans in a matter of three years.

“You have inspired me to join the medical field once again, there is light at the end of this tunnel. Thank you,” a person replied under the video with over 1.4 million views.

“This is how generational wealth happens. As a self supporting adolescent that never went to college, I am just trying to get my baby to [go to] college,” one parent responded

“Yes girl! Finishing my BSN, then next is NP school! #studentloansforlife,” another motivated user replied.
