A TikToker has revealed a horrific first date with a guy she was “excited” to meet via a dating app but who catfished her — and then crassly wanted to pay her $12 for oral sex.
Anisha Verma — who goes by @ave_93 — recently posted a 2-minute clip that topped 33,000 views, telling viewers about the horrifying incident that reportedly happened while she was in college.
Verma, 30, claimed that as soon as he picked her up, she realized she was catfished.
“He looked completely different from his photos, but I thought I’d give him the benefit of the doubt as the conversation was so good on the app,” the British resident told NeedToKnow.co.uk.
Her suitor explained that he used his cousin’s pictures to speak to women online, which she considered a huge red flag.
While en route, she noticed he wasn’t driving in the direction of the restaurant they had chosen for dinner.
“He was going to take me to Nando’s [A South African restaurant], but he proceeded to drive me to a Tesco car park,” she recalled.
Despite any percolating discomfort, Verma let him take the lead and didn’t question his reason for the change.
“We talked for about 30 to 40 minutes, but it was a very sexual conversation and he made me feel uncomfortable, but I just kept shutting that type of talk down.”
She was momentarily relieved, however, when her date pulled out his wallet.
“I thought he was going to say, ‘Let’s go and buy some drinks or snacks,’ because he promised me dinner!”
But he was actually ready to get down to business — and reportedly pulled out about $12 in one hand and $15 in the other, telling her that “whatever hand I picked is how long I had to give him oral sex for.”
Verma declared in her video that she was “shocked, but not surprised,” with a short chuckle.
She told NeedToKnow that she instantly “ran out of the car as fast as possible and walked home at 11 p.m.” — and it was in the winter, at that.
“I was scared and kind of felt vulnerable walking home alone at night,” she said, while also admitting that “it felt safer than being in a car with somebody who had attempted to sexualize me on this date.”
Verma blocked his number and never spoke to him again after the pervy incident, she claimed.
She shared advice for others in the dating pool, too, encouraging singles to meet their dates at a place they both agreed on in advance and to “video call the person who you are going on a date with before meeting them.”
The now-30-year-old admited: “I have learned from this experience and always vet [dates] before meeting them.”
More than 100 concerned viewers commented on Verma’s video about her disaster date.
One woman shared a similar experience, recalling, “My guy took me to [a] car park an 20 mins later asked me to take my pants off.”
“Omg ! What is wrong with the guy! You dif the right thing Girl…someone way better is looking for you,” wrote another viewer.
“It’s stories like this that make me think I’m better off with the single life. Why do some guys think [it] is acceptable to behave like this?!” commented one single.
One person chimed in: “Best to stay single 😏 at this rate the human population will be deflated 😂.”
“Sounds like a creep… next time drive to the restaurant yourself or get a Uber don’t get picked up, that’s where the trouble starts,” a person suggested.
Unfortunately, Verma’s “worst dating experience ever” had a lasting effect on her.
“Haven’t really trusted men since that day,” she confessed in her viral video.
