She found the key to her great-grandmother’s past.
A woman in Mexico has discovered a hidden room in her great-grandmother’s house she says was sealed for over 20 years.
Footage posted last month by TikToker Dayanne Flores shows a man forcing open a wooden door at the Sonora home following her great-grandmother’s death.
Inside are several Catholic statues, religious paintings, furniture pieces, trinkets, and boxes stacked haphazardly.
“There were many religious things, many things piled up,” Flores explains in one clip, according to a translation by Jam Press.
She said the family will eventually clear the room, as they plan to remodel it in the near future.
The two clips went viral with more than 55 million views combined.
Flores boasts 143,000 followers, with many intrigued by the reveal.
“When you showed what was inside, it gave me chills,” one person shared.
“You can feel the energy. Omg,” another stunned viewer wrote.
“Just opened Pandora’s box,” a third remarked.
“Most of the statues of Saints had black eyes,” a viewer shuddered.
“In more than 20 years, two earthquakes have hit and no saint has fallen,” another pointed out about the shelves of statues that remained intact.
Homeowners have discovered other “secret” rooms in recent years, in scenes reminiscent of “The Watcher.”
A British couple said they found a “freaky” room concealed behind a wall in their home — with a wrought-iron bed frame inside.
And an NYC renter claimed to have uncovered a creepy hidden room in her apartment. “Made it out alive,” she exhaled after exiting the space.
