A woman revealed how her six-figure salary pays for her extravagant lifestyle — by working just three hours per day.
Ange Eb had an entrepreneurial spirit from the age of 16 when she would make and sell her own lip balms, sell her clothes on resell platform Depop and bake cakes.
Now, the 21-year-old from Switzerland makes her income as a full-time dropshipper.
Dropshipping is a method where a person or business accepts customer orders without keeping any products on hand. The seller acts as the middleman and purchases their inventory from a third party to fulfill their orders, according to Shopify.
“I don’t hold the stock, so I don’t have an inventory,” she told Caters News. “Ultimately I’m the person in between the customer buying the product and the supplier so I buy from suppliers, and I do the customer service part.”
Eb is living her dream life from the comfort of her own home and working for just three hours a day. She’s been able to give back and support her family back in Cameroon.
“When I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a CEO, I just wanted to run something,” she said. “I started early, I was knocking on people’s doors offering babysitting services at 14, and then started making and selling lip balms at 16.”
The entrepreneur started selling her own clothes and made more than $900 in her first month, which ended up doubling over time — but she realized she was selling out of her clothes fast.
She also started a cake-baking business, which stemmed from her love for baking, but it started to overwhelm her as she was doing it along with her full-time job. While Eb still has the business, she’s decreased her workload.
Eb discovered dropshipping after seeing a video about it on YouTube and has been doing it for about a year.
“I’m buying trending products from China and reselling them on my own website. I learned how to market and advertise myself,” she said. “It can be hard sometimes as you always have to find products to sell, but I love it. I made money without needing to leave my home, I couldn’t believe it.”
Dropshipping has allowed Eb to quit her previous full-time job and start doing it as her only job — but she had to explain it to her parents, who didn’t understand.
“My parents had no idea what I was doing when I told them I sell products online, but once they saw the money coming in, they became more interested,” she shared.
Eb even employed her own mother to help her with her new business.
She also has the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world as long as she has her laptop and WiFi — which means she can answer emails in Bali.
“The best place I’ve worked from was Bali. I was answering emails with breath-taking views over the ocean — it was an experience for sure,” she remembered.
The very first trip she booked when she started making her lavish living was to Dubai in 2021. She’s been able to travel to places she’s never been able to before with her new way of living, including Miami, Los Angeles, Paris, London and Milan.
Eb admitted she’s “addicted” to the income and loves working for herself.
“I would say I’m addicted to making money,” she said. “When you work for someone else you always get the same salary, but when you’re self-employed, it’s all profit so you get addicted and make more money, so you work a lot more. You want to work all around the clock as the money is yours.”
