For crying out loud!
Someone reportedly purchased a pair of Levi’s jeans through Depop, an online secondhand fashion marketplace — and allegedly received onions instead.
The stunned customer contacted the person who sold the pants to get to the root of the problem.
The tear-jerking exchange was leeked to the Depop Drama Instagram page, where it went viral with more than 23,000 likes in the last month.
“Hello, before I open a Depop case for this, do you have any reasonable explanation why I just received a parcel with onions in it instead of the jeans I ordered?” the buyer asked the seller in the screenshot posted online.

“WHAT? Seriously?” the seller responded incredulously. “Um I’m honestly really confused what the hell. WTF? I don’t understand wdym onions? Sorry I’m really confused I sent the Levi’s, did it look opened to you?”
The confused shopper also attached a picture, showing a yellow postage bag with some small loose onions at the bottom.
Users loved the hilarious mystery package, commenting on the confusing mix-up.

“There’s a budding gardening enthusiast somewhere who just received a nice pair of Levis,” one user joked.
“Thanks shallot,” quipped another, while someone else couldn’t get over the free vegetable. “In this economy??” the Instagrammer wrote. “Score.”
“THOSE ARE RARE HEIRLOOM ONIONS worth more than ANY pair of old miners trousers,” another onion enthusiast said.
“Sorry babe the postman took the jeans and must have traded them for the onions,” joked another, while someone else suggested “free onions with every order” could be a good deal from now on.
