That’s a lot of cash for cashews.
Brooke Baevsky, better known as Chef Bae, is a private chef for Hollywood’s elite who dishes behind the scenes to her 175,400 TikTok followers.
In a jaw-dropping post last week, she documented the items she bought at the swanky supermarket chain Erewhon Market — and viewers can’t comprehend her bill totaling $3,515.09.
According to the culinary artist, her haul included granola, organic juices, tomato paste, cashews, canned beverages and plenty of fruits and veggies.
What really inflated the cost was likely the more obscure items, including vegan paleo donuts, cacao nibs, lacuma powder and sea moss gel.
Baevsky did not reveal the celebrity who was footing the lavish bill, but Imagine Dragons vocalist Dan Reynolds, as well as “The Culpo Sisters” star Aurora Culpo, are familiar faces on her Instagram feed.
Meanwhile, regular folk in the comments chewed out Baevsky’s splurge.
“How lucky to be able to spend 3k on food alone while that 3k is for my rent food bills and gas and if we r lucky a little splurge,” one moaned.
“During a recession, too,” another said of the state of the country’s finanical situation.
“That is more than I make in a month,” another claimed.
“That’s more than the mortgage and monthly budget for my family of 5 that we can hardly afford,” one groaned.
“Crying into my Hamburger Helper,” another said of the cheap meal.
“Kim there’s people that are dying,” another wrote, quoting Kourtney Kardashian’s famous line about sister Kim’s trivial drama.
