A New Jersey bride wasn’t the only one blushing during her wedding — while being escorted down the aisle by her father, his pants fell to expose his stark-white undies.
“To all my 2024 brides,” Sarah Grundman-Connors, 36, began her TikTok PSA this week for folks planning to take the plunge. “Make sure that whoever is walking you down the aisle is wearing suspenders.”
Grundman-Connors gave nearly 300,000 virtual viewers a glimpse of her 74-year-old father’s fashion fail during her 2021 nuptials in Asbury Park.
In the fanny-flashing flick, dad Leonard Grundman is unsuccessful in securing his sliding slacks before they land around his ankles.
When the proud papa bends over to recover, he gives the cackling crowd an eyeful of his heinie.
Committed to capturing the precious moment, Grundman-Connors’ wedding photographer is seen leaping into place for a bull’s-eye snapshot.
“The photographers reflexes are on point,” joked a commenter beneath the comical clip.
“How does this happen? I’ve never just been walking and my pants fall down!!” questioned an equally tickled watcher.
“This happened at my wedding too but the Groom though,” confessed another recent bride. “We can laugh [about it] now.”
Unfortunately for folks hoping things go off without a hitch on the day they get hitched, red-cheek-inducing incidents like this are quite common.
In fact, a 32-year-old bride recently admitted to suffering a “Janet Jackson” moment when her breast popped out of her dress while on the dance floor at her wedding reception.
The brunette’s NSFW (not-suitable-for-wedding) exposure was preceded by a nip slip during Los Angeles bride Joanna Olandt’s big day.
“I look down and I’m like, ‘Oh they’re fully exposed,’” the blond said of her boobs in a trending TikTok. “Tits were out.”
Like Olandt, Grundman-Connors took her daddy’s jaw-dropping display in stride.
“I knew my dad would not care if I shared [the video on TikTok], and it has honestly become one of the best memories of my wedding day and for my family,” she told People on Wednesday. “We love retelling the story and now that it is over and done we can look back and just smile.”
“Life is too short, and I really wanted my wedding day to be laid back and really fun,” Grundman-Connors continued. “I think that was one of the best ways it could have started to keep that theme going.”
