The offseason wasn’t easy on Dak Prescott.
The Cowboys’ starting quarterback and ex-fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos broke up in March, just one month ahead of their scheduled Italy wedding.
“Stress may help lose a little weight here and there,” Prescott said with a laugh Tuesday when asked about his offseason. “I’m kidding. I’m going to shut it right there.”
Page Six reported that “ongoing infidelity issues” played a role in the split as the couple parted ways right after their bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas.
The two reportedly started dating in September 2023 and were engaged 13 months later in October 2024, and share two children.
No official reason has been given for the separation, but the tumultuous offseason may have affected Prescott’s offseason training.
Prescott, 32, normally weighs 238 pounds during the NFL season. It’s unclear what he currently weighs with voluntary offseason OTA’s ongoing and mandatory minicamp beginning net week.
He and Ramos have two young daughters together.
The two parties apparently settled a dispute involving custody of their children after the Cowboys’ quarterback filed a SAPCR to define roles for unmarried parents in the state of Texas.
It’s a big season for Prescott and the Cowboys, veteran QB enters the third year of his massive four-year $240 million contract with the Cowboys.
He is slated to make $44.5 million this season, and looks to help Dallas compete for a division title as most expect the Eagles to take a step back this season.
