“It Starts With Us” is Hoover’s latest book release and the most anticipated after the first novel in the series, “It Ends With Us” (2016), blew up on TikTok earlier this year.
Without spoiling too much, the novel follows Lily and her new life after the first novel’s events.
“Ugly Truth” may be Colleen Hoover’s saddest book yet, so make sure you have a fresh box of tissues before you start this one.
The novel follows Tate Collins and airline pilot Miles Archer, who start off on the wrong foot. With the only thing they can agree on being their mutual attraction, they leave everything on the sidelines and keep things simple: sex only. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.
“Regretting You” captures family drama, the complicated nature of mother-daughter relationships and the different ways generations get through grief in a beautifully written sequence. The book follows Morgan Grant and her teenage daughter, Clara, after a tragic accident with themes of redemption, second chances and, of course — a few steamy scenes in the mix.
In this young-adult book, Beyah Grim transitions to adulthood after a tragic death when she is forced to spend the summer in Texas with her estranged father. While there, she meets Sampson, a rich kid that shows her a different way of life.
Last but certainly not least, “Hopeless.” While Hoover is known for her contemporary romances, she certainly did not drop the ball on this young-adult novel.
The main character Skye falls for Dean Holder, your typical bad boy with secrets. Except one of his secrets relates to her past.
