He kept calm and carried on.
A TV reporter was apparently robbed while filming a live news update in London — and he barely even flinched.
BBC star Harry Low had been assigned to report on heavy rain and flooding in the capital from the streets of suburban Mortlake Monday night, when his backpack was purportedly nabbed by a thief.
“A career first last night — my bag was stolen halfway through our live,” he wrote on Twitter, accompanied by a 2-minute video of the suddenly suspenseful segment.
The footage began with a BBC anchor in a studio crossing to Low who provided an update on the weather. The segment then cut to a pre-recorded interview he had conducted with a young local resident.
When the camera returned to the street, there were several seconds of silence as the reporter appeared to notice something out of order — an individual making off with his bag, Low later revealed.
The star retained his composure, completing his work assignment.
The theft wasn’t caught on camera and Low didn’t disclose what was inside the bag that had been pinched.

Low additionally did not provide information as to whether the thief had been apprehended. However, many praised him for maintaining decorum during the difficult moment.
“Oh Harry!! You absolute professional. That’s awful though, so sorry that happened to you,” fellow BBC journalist Holly Clemens responded.
“Well done for carrying on,” an other impressed viewer declared.

Low isn’t the only TV reporter to be robbed while out on assignment.
Back in August, two journalists in Chicago were held up at gunpoint by three men wearing ski masks — while covering a spate of robberies and carjackings.
Meanwhile, CNN reporter Bruna Macedo was mugged at knifepoint during a live broadcast she filmed in São Paulo, Brazi in 2020.
