I was left sobbing in street after my ‘dream’ tattoo went horribly wrong

It was a tat-astrophe of tear-jerking proportions.

Influencer Tia Kabir was left crying by the side of the road in Bali, Indonesia after her dream of getting an ink job abroad ended in disaster.

A now-viral video detailing the incident has amassed over 2.8 million TikTok views as well as criticism from commenters with many claiming it was the Australian social media sensation’s fault for being careless.

“It’s supposed to say ‘angel energy’, now it just says ‘energy angel,’” Kabir, 19, sobbed in the clip, before showing the spot on her arm where the epic typo occurred.

“I’ve always wanted something powerful such as Angel Energy on my arm as I believe through everything I have been through to becoming the influencer I am now, I can leave a good spirit imprinted on my body,” said the online star, who boasts hundreds of thousands of fans across the TikTok, Instagram, Youtube and OnlyFans platforms.

The botched tattoo occurred May 7 after teen went unspecified parlor on the island paradise to get the aforementioned commemorative tattoo, according to the Daily Mail.

Things started off badly with Kabir claiming she had to have the artist revise the stencil three times.

Unfortunately, due to her aversion to needles, the traveler said she “looked away the whole time” and was not “paying attention” as to whether her body ink adhered to her specifications.

Needless to say, the end result was not what she was hoping for.

“The size was incorrect the first time, second was the spacing and then the third it somehow swapped the other way,” lamented Kabir, who said she “broke down in tears” upon seeing the botched body ink.

The social media star was particularly distraught as she’d been fantasizing about getting the design for some time.

“‘I came to Bali to get a tattoo and I’ve been dreaming of getting this tattoo,” the inconsolable gal recalled in the clip while sucking on a vape pen. “I don’t get tattoos all the time, I get one like every few months.”

While the staff reportedly apologized for the mistake, they didn’t refund her for the tattoo, which reportedly cost 1.35million Indonesian Rupiah (around $90). Instead they edited the ink so it now reads: “‘Energy of an Angel.”

Social media was none too sympathetic with Kabir’s tat gaffe, which they felt could’ve been easily avoided.

“Somehow this sounds like your fault,” scoffed one viewer, while another wondered, “so you decided to not look at what was he doing?”

“How did you not notice when they put on the stencil,” said a third of her botched cosmetic pilgrimage.

Make it ‘high energy angel’ lol,” quipped one jokester.

Others found it humorous that Kabir’s idea of infrequent tattoos entailed getting one only every few months.

‘”I came to Bali to get a tattoo’ well that’s the problem right there,” critiqued another commenter.

Meanwhile, some critics accused the influencer of fabricating the story for internet clout.

However, she insisted it was real, declaring to the DailyMail: “My response to this hate is that this is 100 percent genuine.”

This incident comes amid a surge in friction between tourists and locals on the predominantly Hindu Island.

Foreigners came under fire last month for a number of taboo behaviors, including having sex in public, breaking traffic laws, smuggling drugs and even working illegally as tattoo artists — its yet unclear if those responsible for Kabir’s botched ink were local or foreign.

In March, 10 tourists were mocked when they filed an official complaint claiming that the neighbor’s roosters crowed every morning, disrupting their sleep.
