We’re definitely sticking with this tip.
One man on TikTok has revealed how to painlessly remove a Band-Aid from any part of your body, and some viewers are absolutely shocked.
The viral video, made by Los-Angeles based creator Sidney Raz, has already reached 1.4 million views on the app.
On his platform, Raz often shares life hacks and tricks with his followers, and this one is no different.
In the beginning of the 20-second clip, Raz admits, “Here’s something I didn’t know until I was in my 30’s. Band-Aids can be taken off without pain?”
Raz then proceeded to share the simple hack: he put on a small, plastic Band-Aid, and then removed it in an upwards motion, pulling it up off the skin.
“I didn’t even feel that happen,” he declared.
The Post reached out to the TikTok creator for comment.
“Pull up the Band-Aid,” he explained at the end of the video.
In the comments section, many were taken by the life hack, and claimed that taking it off this way had worked for them and made the removal totally painless.
“Just tried it with the fabric ones, it does indeed work 🤯,” one user claimed.
Another agreed, typing, “I put a bandaid on my arm for this. Pulling it up a little to grab it hurt, but then I pulled and it was suddenly off. I am impressed.”
“…Not gonna lie, I gathered all three of my children & showed them this life hack 😂,” one person announced. “I went 40 yrs w/o knowing, they will not be deprived!”
However, some criticized the creator for seemingly not leaving the Band-Aid on long enough.
“Well of course it’s gonna come off easier after just PUTTING IN ON!!” one viewer commented. “Dude now put it on and leave it for a few days and try it 😂.”
Someone else pointed out, “I’m going to need this with a bandaid that’s not for kids. Cause those cloth type ones don’t come off without water sometimes and that still hurts lol.”
