There’s one snack that Princess Charlotte just can’t olive without.
Eight-year-old Princess Charlotte’s favorite snack has been revealed, and it’s quite sophisticated for such a youngster.
In a recently resurfaced report, the Princess’ mom, Kate Middleton, divulged that her daughter loves to eat olives, according to The Mirror.
She first made the statement during a 2019 engagement at the Lavender Primary School, according to The Daily Mail, telling the class that, “Charlotte loves olives.”
Olives are famously chock full of nutrients, and pack a healthy serving of Vitamin E and healthy fats.
While visiting the school, the hands-on mom of three also revealed that Charlotte and her older brother, George, 9, like to cook with her, and they especially love making cheesy pasta.
The Post reached out to reps at Kensington Palace for comment.
When it comes to the diets of the other royal children, Middleton said in a 2019 BBC Christmas special called “A Berry Royal Christmas,” where she teamed up with expert baker Mary Berry to prepare some seasonal foods for those who work with their various charities.
“We’ve got carrots, beans, beetroot – a massive favorite – Louis absolutely loves beetroot,” she told Berry of her youngest son, who is now five years old.
The kids also love to eat steak and smoothies, according to The Mirror, and it looks like their love of fruit runs run the royal family – last year, it was revealed by Darren McGrady, the former chef of the late Queen Elizabeth II, that she loves to eat jam sandwiches during high tea.
McGrady said in a video on his YouTube channel that she had been eating the jam sandwiches since she was a little girl, and continued the tradition well into adulthood.
She loved to eat berries as well, but only if they were fresh.
The late monarch — who passed away in September — loved drinks with Gin and desserts of strawberries and cream at her garden parties.
Meanwhile, her son, King Charles, enjoys a diet that’s part-vegan, eating at least one meal per week that doesn’t include dairy or meat.
His dietary decisions were reflected when it came to choosing the official dish for his upcoming coronation ceremony – the coronation quiche.
The dish was announced by Buckingham Palace in April and features a mixture of spinach, broad beans, cheese and tarragon.
It was a meal hand-picked by the King and Queen Consort Camilla herself, according to the announcement, and people are encouraged to make it during celebrations on coronation weekend.
The King’s coronation ceremony is set for Saturday, May 6 at Westminster Abbey, and will represent the official transfer of power to the monarch after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, who reigned for 70 years.
The event will be star-studded and include performances from Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Andrea Bocelli.
King Charles’ son, Prince Harry, will also be attending the event after weeks of speculation – but he won’t be bringing his wife, Meghan Markle, across the pond with him.
A royal biographer recently claimed that Markle skipped out on the festivities to “protect her peace.”
His relationship with the family has been strained for the past few years, especially with the January release of his tell-all memoir, “Spare.”
