Thalassemia is a genetic disease that is passed down from parent to child. In this disease, there is a severe shortage of blood in the body of the patient. Due to which he needs to have blood transfusions outside again and again. This disease is recognized in the child only after 3 months of birth. In Thalassemia disease, hemoglobin is not produced due to lack of blood. Because of which children have to be taken to the hospital for external blood transfusion.
Due to repeated blood transfusions, excess iron starts accumulating in the patient’s body, reaching the heart and proving fatal. According to doctors, the lifespan of a red blood cell in the body of a healthy person is about 120 days. But the red blood cells in the body of a patient suffering from Thalassemia are eliminated in just 20 days. Because of this, there is a deficiency of hemoglobin in the body and the person can become a victim of anemia.

basil juice
Consuming Tulsi juice is considered very beneficial in the disease of Thalassemia. Tulsi has many ayurvedic properties which are helpful in the treatment of this disease. For this, take four to five spoons of fresh basil juice daily.

leafy greens
Consuming dark leafy greens and low-fat plant-based things are also considered beneficial in Thalassemia disease. In the treatment of thalassemia, eating folic acid-rich food such as lentils, bananas, beetroot and sweet potatoes is beneficial.

In Ayurveda, Giloy is considered like nectar. Consuming Giloy helps in the treatment of Thalassemia disease. It has anti-inflammatory properties which are helpful in treating blood disorders. In the disease of Thalassemia, it is recommended to consume Giloy juice daily.
