Brits’ beloved fast casual chain is coming to NYC — but it won’t last long

New Yorkers are about to see another long line.

For the first time ever, the South African-born chain Nando’s will set foot in the Big Apple. And our friends from across the pond are calling it an answer to a prayer.

Wildly popular in the UK, the Empire State will officially get a taste of such British delicacy — but only for three weeks.

Nando’s will do a three-week stint — starting Saturday, June 27 at 341 Broome Street — with free food, music, watch parties, exclusive collabs and more.

Eaters across the city will now be clamoring to get their hands on the chain’s popular PERi-PERi, the Portuguese-African flame-grilled dish. Started in 1987, Nando’s has since built a cult-like following with its 24-hour marinated chicken blasted with a signature sauce made from the African Bird’s Eye Chilli — hence the name which translates to pepper-pepper.

During the three-week SOHO event, the beloved chicken shop will serve up its other signature dishes like the Sunset Burger, Wing Roulette and the legendary PERi-Salted Chips. And fear not, its endless sauce station will also be in full swing.

Fans can get saucy with its classic, bottomless flavors from the Lemon & Herb to the fan-favorite PERi-PERi Saka. NYC staple, Utopia Bagels, is also getting into the action with a limited-edition crossover.

The Post put together a timeline of all the events to check out starting on June 27. Plus, all event access and PERi-PERi will be completely free. To secure your spot, make sure to head to the @Nandosuk Instagram stories for tickets and more information.

More music acts are set to rock the house with A$AP NAST, PDP Soundsystem, and special guests.

But like most good things. All events will come to an end after Saturday, July 11.

Aside from the food and entertainment, the party will also have a rotating list of locals selling fashion and accessories, art pieces, and interactive experiences. Each spot will highlight brands like Coco Cult, Stitched in the City, My Perlitas and Xtina’s Werld, sharing the classic New York culture that defines the City.

A word to the wise, plan accordingly. All events will be free, which means tickets will probably be gone quickly. The Nando’s Instagram account will be posting weekly schedules and event access on its stories.
