This massage is the GOAT.

No stranger to wellness, Tom Brady is keeping his health in check by keeping up with a rigorous diet from his football days, even well after retirement.

Now, the Raiders minority owner and NFL legend wants more people to prioritize recovery by offering a deep tissue massage protocol designed after his own regimen and delivered via a robot.

Prioritizing recovery during his football days, Tom Brady has designed a deep tissue massage delivered by a robot.

Partnering with Aescape, the world’s first robotic massage technology company, last year and becoming their Chief Innovation Officer, Brady set out to share his longevity and recovery protocol that emphasizes muscle pliability, consistent bodywork and recovery.

Last week, the company launched the Brady Protocol, a targeted 30-minute recovery session co-developed with the 7-time Super Bowl champion.

The Protocol works the full posterior chain, from the calves through the traps, using Aescape’s Adaptive Body Therapy, which combines physical AI and robotic arms to map each body and adapt every session to the individual.

“Consistent bodywork is one of the most important things you can do to take care of yourself,” Brady said in a press release. “I’ve always believed you don’t have to be a professional athlete to benefit from that kind of care and consistency.”

It’s not just athletes who can benefit from regular massages, either, as tension can accumulate from training, long hours sitting at a desk, travel or busy schedules.

Throughout his career, Brady addressed that tension regularly, rather than waiting until something was wrong.

“For me, consistency has always been a huge part of taking care of my body, and that’s what we wanted to bring to this,” he said.

His protocol was developed under the belief that regular massages can help the body move more easily, recover more efficiently and feel at its peak, and “now anyone can experience it for themselves.”

While there’s been a growing cultural obsession with longevity, health, and biohacking, massages have been noticeably absent from many wellness regimes.

Massages may provide short-term relief for pain in the neck, shoulders, lower back and knees, as well as a part of supportive care for cancer patients.

They’ve also been shown to help the body bounce back faster from workouts, sports injuries or postoperative strain by shortening the duration of muscle soreness and reducing stress.

Working with a team of licensed therapists and trainers, the NFL analyst helped design the sequence and intensity of each robotic massage stroke.

“We kept working at it until it felt like the work I’ve relied on for years,” Brady said.

The technique kicks off with deeper pressure from the get-go to address built-up tension, although users can set the pressure throughout the process to stay relaxed.

The robotic arm strokes focus on the points where muscles attach, using cross-fiber work where it’s dense in addition to Aescape’s real-time body mapping.

“The sensors create a 3D model of your body that’s going to really personalize the massage … and between each visit, it’s going to remember you and know the things you like,” Aescape founder and CEO Eric Litman said in a previous statement.

A short introduction video from Brady will also explain what users can expect, how to use the pressure controls and how to incorporate the protocol as a regular practice.

The Brady Protocol is available at every Aescape location, including partner locations open to public booking and those reserved for members and guests, starting at $39, with pricing varying by location.
